This textbook version R-ate pairing is very slow. About 0.5 seconds on my Macbook Pro 2018 with 2.7 GHz Core i7.

Add BN_init() and CRYPTO_num_locks(), compatible with OpenSSL 0.9.8.
And change the default OpenSSL API to 1.1.0.
